USMNT legend Landon Donovan was the special guest on the first-ever live show of the U.S. Soccer Podcast, which taped prior to kickoff between the United States Men’s National Team and Ecuador at Q2 Stadium in Austin, Texas on Friday, Oct. 10.
On the episode, Donovan previews his upcoming book, which is scheduled for a spring 2026 release.
Speaking with host David Gass and World Cup winner Meghan Klingenberg on the U.S. Soccer Podcast, Donovan opened up about life, mental health and legacy through soccer. He shares incredible and honest stories, like the moment he first saw fans react to his iconic stoppage-time game-winner against Algeria in the 2010 FIFA World Cup.
At the taping, fans were able to ask questions during a Q&A segment. After the recording ended, they were invited to stick around and get an autograph from the star of the show himself.
