The U.S. Under-17 Men’s National Team fell in two matches to the Netherlands U-18 side last week in Noordwijk, Netherlands.
On Sept. 5, the USA opened the scoring through Cavan Sullivan in the 11th minute, but the Oranje came back with two goals from Pharrel Nash (21st minute) and Ayoub Ouarghi (29th minute) to earn a 2-1 victory.
On Sept. 8, the USA received goals from Chase Adams in the 20th minute and Maxi Carrizo in the 49th, but fell 8-2 to the home side in the second preparation match.
The U-17 MNT will gather for one last domestic training camp during the October FIFA window before head coach Gonzalo Segares submits his final roster for the 2025 FIFA U-17 World Cup later that month.
The USA will face Burkina Faso (Nov. 5), Tajikistan (Nov. 8) and Czechia (Nov. 11) during Group I play in Qatar.
