ATLANTA (Aug. 21, 2025) – The final opponent for the three-match October window for the U.S. Women’s National Team has been confirmed and the USA will take on New Zealand in Kansas City, Mo., on Wednesday, Oct. 29, in the team’s first-ever match at CPKC Stadium (8 p.m. ET / 7 p.m. CT, on TNT, truTV and HBO Max in English on Universo and Peacock in Spanish; and on the radio on Westwood One Sports).
Before traveling to Kansas City, the United States will play two matches against Portugal. The first will be on Thursday, Oct. 23 at Subaru Park in Chester, Pa., presented by AT&T (7 p.m. ET on TNT, truTV and HBO Max in English on Peacock in Spanish and on the radio on Westwood One Sports) and will feature a special pregame retirement celebration for USWNT legend Alex Morgan.
The second game against Portugal will be on Sunday, Oct. 26, at Pratt & Whitney Stadium at Rentschler Field in East Hartford, Conn. (4 p.m. ET on TNT, truTV and HBO Max in English, Universo and Peacock in Spanish and on the radio on Westwood One Sports). As part of U.S. Soccer’s continued efforts to develop winning teams and create opportunities for all disciplines of the game, this match day will feature a doubleheader with the U.S. Men’s Deaf National Team at 1 p.m. ET (broadcast info TBA) against an international opponent to be announced. U.S. goalkeeping legend Alyssa Naeher will also be honored in her home state with a special pregame retirement ceremony.

The Football Ferns, co-hosts of the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup, are ranked No. 33 in the world. The most recent matches between the teams were in Wellington and Auckland in January of 2023 on a pre-World Cup trip to New Zealand, with the USA winning 4-0 and 5-0, respectively.
This will be the 22nd all-time meeting between the USA and New Zealand. The first match in 1987 marked the Kiwis’ first and only victory in the series.
