Participant:  Paige Gray – Age 7

Reason for selection: Paige is a fun-loving 7-year-old with a passion for soccer. She recently made a club team in Cincinnati and is looking forward to playing with her new teammates. Soccer is a very big part of her daily life and something she takes great pride in!

Who is your favorite U.S. Soccer player and why? 

Rose Lavelle because she is a good player and is from Cincinnati, my hometown! 

Why do you love soccer?

Soccer is fun! I love making friends, exercising, and playing with my teammates.

What is the most important lesson you have learned from playing sports?

I have learned that it’s not always about winning but having fun! 

What are you most looking forward to this Fall / Winter?

Joining my new team and teammates and playing indoor soccer. 

Who inspires you the most and why?

My dad inspires me because he is my biggest fan and he helps me learn a lot about sports. 

What do you want to be when you grow up?

A soccer player or a veterinarian! 

What or who are you thankful for?

I am most thankful for my family because I love them and they are important to me and always cheer for me and support me!
