The Volkswagen Honoree Spotlight program is a collaboration between U.S. Soccer and VW to highlight children with a passion for the game. Today's VW Honoree is Korbin S., who is nine years old from Salt Lake City, Utah. Korbin was nominated by the VW SouthTowne dealership in South Jordan, Utah for his relentless work ethic towards becoming better during each practice and game.  Korbin’s leadership and awareness of the game is beyond his years as he continues to improve his skills and strives to be the best

Why do you love soccer?
It makes me happy,  and I get to play with friends and make new friends.

 


What is the most important lesson you have learned from playing sports?

My dad. He always motivates me and cheers me on.

 


What do you want to be when you grow up?

A motocross professional, football, or soccer player.
