Samantha Mewis did not make the 2016 Olympic Team, but she was an alternate and traveled to Brazil with the team where she was in every meeting and at every training. In this episode of 23 Stories, presented by Volkswagen, Mewis talks about the importance of family and team bonding, and how her unique Olympic experience taught her to be a better teammate and appreciate the value of playing a role.
