In this episode of 23 Stories, presented by Volkswagen, U.S. WNT midfielder Allie Long shares the impact that her grandfather, George, had her on a person and player. A big part of his life was dedicated to helping her foster the passion for the game that helped Long navigate some obstacles in her career and earn a spot on her first World Cup Team. Although he passed away in the fall of 2018, she will carry his spirit with her to the World Cup this summer.
