In this episode of 23 Stories, Presented by Volkswagen, U.S. defender Tierna Davidson reminisces about her dreams of becoming an astronaut. While still harbors hopes of space travel one day, her upbringing on the Stanford campus watching multitudes of sporting events fueled her academic and soccer aspirations, and led to a spot on the World Cup Team as the squad's youngest player. Her current goals are decidedly based on terra firma, specifically the green soccer cathedrals of France that will host games of the 2019 Women's World Cup.
