NATIONAL TEAM HIGHLIGHTS

  • Scored his first goal for the USMNT in dramatic fashion on June 3, 2021 - on an 89th minute diving header to lift the USA over Honduras 1-0 in the semifinals of the 2019-20 Concacaf Nations League.
  • Made his USMNT debut at any age level on March 25, 2021 in the USMNT’s 4-1 win over Jamaica in a friendly played at Wiener Neustadt Stadion in Austria. He replaced Josh Sargent in the 82nd minute.
  • Eligible to represent the United States, France and Cameroon, in June 2017 he played for the France Under-21s and scored in his debut against Albania. Because he only appeared in friendlies, he did not require a “Change of Association” request in order to represent the United States.

 

2022 FIFA WORLD CUP QUALIFYING

  • Appeared in three of the 14 World Cup Qualifying matches.
  • Made his qualifying debut on Sept. 2, 2021 when he entered in the second half of a 0-0 draw at El Salvador.
  • He started three days later against Canada, and also played the scoreless draw at Mexico on March 24, 2022 in his lone appearance this year.

 

CLUB HIGHLIGHTS

  • On June 30, 2022 he signed with Union Berlin, and scored in his Bundesliga debut, a 2-1 win over Hertha Berlin on August 6.
  • Led the Swiss Super League with 22 goals in 2021-22, and scored 27 in all competitions, including a 95th minute winner against Manchester United in the UEFA Champions League group stage.
  • Signed outright with Young Boys in July 2021 after scoring 12 league goals.
  • Scored three times in 29 league games for Rennes through two seasons and was loaned to BSC Young Boys (Swiss Super League) on Sept. 13, 2020.
  • Signed a three-year contract with Reims in September 2015, and would connect for 20 goals in 69 league appearances before agreeing to a contract with Rennes (Ligue 1).
  • Made his Ligue 1 debut in a 1-0 loss at Toulouse on Jan. 31, 2015 as a substitute, and scored his first league goal in his second appearance, the game-winner as a second-half substitute in a 2-1 comeback win at Bordeaux on Aug. 9, 2015.
  • Joined Stade de Reims in France when he was seven years old.
