ATLANTA (May 15, 2025) – The U.S. Under-16 Girls’ National Team and U.S. Under-15 Girls’ National Team will hold training camps that will overlap in Fayetteville, Ga., with the U-15 camp running from May 18-25 and the U-16s running from May 21-28. Fayetteville is the future home of the currently under construction Arthur M. Blank U.S. Soccer National Training Center, where the vast majority of YNT programming will take place once the facility opens.
All 24 players on the U-16 roster were born in 2009 while all the U-15 players were born in 2010. With the age cut-off for players to be eligible to play in the 2025 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup being Jan. 1, 2008, all 48 players in this camp are available for selection for the World Cup Team, which will be made up primarily of 2008s.
One player in the U-15 GNT camp, midfielder Valentina Perrotta, is currently playing with DC Power FC in the USL Super League and has seen action in one match this year. She plays her youth club soccer with Bethesda FC.
Six players on the U-16 roster helped the USA win the 2024 Concacaf Girls’ Under-15 Championship in Costa Rica in defender Alexandra Han, midfielder Caroline Swann (two goals in that tournament) and forwards Kendall Conway (five goals), Bristol Kersh (one goal), Amari Manning (two goals) and Deus Stanislaus (three goals).
The U-15 GNT will scrimmage the U-16 GNT on May 24 during the cross-over time of the two camps. Fourteen players over the two camps hail from Texas.
